In 2015 Mohammed Shahbaz Alam & Advocate Anita Shahbaz realized that there is huge gap between pharmaceutical stakeholders and they innovated Pharma Ratna Award to bridge the gap and to create relation among global pharmaceutical stakeholders. Pharma Ratna Award conceptualized in Ukraine while they were travelling to Europe.

They coordinated with seven states pharma friends to form national nongovernmental organization. They connected Dr.Neha Raheja, Harshit Gupta, Ankit Patel, Deepak Singh, Vijender Shekhawat, Shaikh Aamir and Punam Gupta.

Mohammad Shahbaz Alam and Advocate Anita Shahbaz are co-author for two books on human resource management published by Atlantic Publisher in the year 2009 and 2010. Mohammad Shahbaz Alam has 24 years of experience of Drug Regulatory, Drug Safety, Product Management, Medical Writing and Export Management. He is working as CMD of Meher Pharma International, a drug regulatory and drug safety service provider company. Advocate Anita Shahbaz is working as MD of Vantage International India Inc and Meher Legal Associates. She has 19 years of experience of human resource management, export and legal services.

First Pharma Ratna Award Ceremony started on December 23, 2016 at India International Center, New Delhi, India. Dr.G.N.Singh, Drug Controller General of India was invited as chief guest and Hon. Satish Garg, Head Income Tax Appellant Tribunal, Government of India was guest of honour.
